Brougton and District Bowling Club is situated in the Broughton Village just behind the school in the Upper Tweed area of the Scottish Borders Region.

*** We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a grant from Scottish Hydro Clyde (Borders)Community Fund to go towards the installation of a hot water system into the toilets and kitchen. The grant of £550 is very much appreciated. ***
"NEW AGE BOWLING"
These High Density Bowls perform just like any other bowl with a bias. (The material is just like that of a stress ball) All you need to play this "NEW AGE BOWLS" game is a flat surface of particulary any kind of finish. Private car parks,village halls,school halls, school playgrounds any carpet surface,vinyl etc.ect.
As we have limited clubhouse facilities these bowls give us the opportunity to take our sport into the community to encourage people to take bart in bowling."NEW AGE BOWLING" is endorsed by both World Bowls and Bowls England.
As the bowls are not heavy they are suitable for almost all age groups from about 5 years upwards. Wheelchair users also welcome to try "NEW AGE BOWLING"
The are also ideal for fundraising at open days or fetes etc.
