The Broughton Ales sponsored Pairs on Saturday 12th May was won by the clubs pair of Tom Anderson (Skip) and Bill Nicholson who beat fellow members Graeme Johnstone (Skip) and Billy Rutherford in the final. Our thanks to all who supported this tournament and to those on the entry waiting list.

AT THE OFFICIAL OPENING OF THE GREEN ON SATURDAY 21ST APRIL PRESIDENT GRAEME JOHNSTONE INVITED BILL NICHOLSON TO THROW THE FIRST JACK AND BOWL TO GET THE 2012 SEASON UNDERWAY.
DURING THE AFTERNOON MEMBERS AND GUESTS ENJOYED PLAYING A FEW ENDS OF BOWLS UNTIL THE WEATHER BROKE THEN RETIRED TO THE CLUBHOUSE FOR AFTERNNNON TEA.

We can loan you all the necessary equipment including smaller bowls for the use by children.Flat soled footwear also available.
ADULT MEMBERSHIP FEE FOR 2012 IS £50.
This includes entry into Bowls Scotland Scottish National Championships entered by the club.
Ladies and Gent's club championships, pairs and handicap competitions.
Visitors to the area are welcome at a fee of £2 per session.
JUNIORS UNDER 14 FREE MEMBERSHIP FOR 2012
JUNIORS 14 YEAR to 18 YEARS ONLY £10
*** We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a grant from Scottish Hydro Clyde (Borders)Community Fund to go towards the installation of a hot water system into the toilets and kitchen.
The grant of £550 is very much appreciated. ***
This work is now almost completed.
